Gary T. "Ding Dong Banfield," 64, Revloc, died May 21, 2015, at home. Born June 16, 1950 in Johnstown, son of the late Thomas O. and Eleanor (Sunderland) Banfield.

Survived by wife of 41 years, the former Mary Ann Lozensky, Revloc; children, Jessica Lynn Banfield, Nanty Glo, and Jonathan T. (Wendy) Banfield, Indiana; grandchildren, Amber Lisa and Logan Thomas, both of Indiand brothers, Terry Allen Banfield, Ebensburg, and Daniel Scott Banfield, Ebensburg; and special cousins, George (Lois) Banfield, Revloc.

A 1968 graduate of Central Cambria High School. Served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Retired from Mine 33, Ebensburg; Polar Block Insulation; Allegheny Belting; and Mead Westvaco. Gary was an avid Steelers fan and hunter and loved to play with his grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.
