She left New York in her teen years to live in Quincy, MA for most of her adult life. She was a U.S. Marine's wife and traveled with her late husband and their four daughters while he was in the U.S.M.C. She was a member of the St. John's Jr. League in Quincy, cast member of St. John's musicals, lector at St. John's Church, volunteer at the St. Anthony's Feast and a member of the Red Hat Society. She worked for ten years at the Quincy Cooperative Bank and moved to Cape Cod in 1983. She also worked for over 20 years at the All Seasons Motor Inn, and for 13 years at the Cape Cod Mall in customer service. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert McCarthy; and sister, Katie Brock. She is survived by her four daughters, Patricia D'Allessandro and husband, Thomas of Plymouth, Pamela Maybruck of Plymouth, Kelle Charpentier of Plymouth, and Robin Culver of Falmouth; six grandchildren, Lauren D'Allessandro, Michael and Steven Charpentier, Fallon and Kelsi Culver, and Max Maybruck; great grandchild, Noah Leger; and sister Rita Green and husband, Harold of New Jersey.
