Janice was a terminal superintendent at Murphy Oil for many years and before working and retiring from BFI (Waste Management).
She was a member of the Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Janice was a double breast cancer survivor and had a sweet tooth. She enjoyed bowling, going to Black Bear Casino, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Duane and Dennis Sohlstrom; and first husband, Jack ‘John’ Carlson.
Janice is survived by her children: Jeffrey (Terri) Carlson and Jacquelyn (Joe) Marzan; grandchildren: Jeremy (Amber) Carlson, Matt (Sierra) Wicklund, Katelynn (Kevin) Polak, Allysa (Alvin) Wicklund, Janae Marzan, Joey Marzan, and Jedi Marzan; many great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Ellison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Superior
