Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM on Sep 15, 2020 at St Francis Catholic Church with Father Isidore Ochiabuto of St Francis Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene.

Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Carmen was born in Coleman, TX to George and Fannie Sanchez on Oct 27, 1942.

She went to school in Abilene.

She married Jerry Williams on September 5, 1968.

She worked with Mrs. Black in a bakery, Mr. and Mrs. McMillon and Dr. Cannon and Mrs. Cannon until she retired. She was a widow of her beloved husband Jerry Williams a disabled veteran who retired from the United States Air Force.

Carmen was preceded in death by her dad George Sanchez, brother Jimmy Sanchez, her son Adam Garcia Jr., sister Linda Sanchez, mother Fannie Sanchez, husband Jerry Williams and her brother Alex Sanchez.

Carmen is survived by her daughter: Angel Harris Alvertos, Angel's husband Tracy Harris and other daughter Linda Thomas. Her brothers Manuel Sanchez, Ruben Sanchez and Rubens wife Ana Sanchez. Her sisters Rita Ocon and Olivia Gomez. Her grandchildren Joshua Harris and his wife Rae Harris, Chloe Alvertos, Joseph Hickman, Christina Hickman, Starladawn Thomas. Great-grandchild Beau David Harris. Her Animals Winnie, Boots and Hershey.

Carmen wanted to send her love to all her family and friends but was restricted by the COVID pandemic. It was important, to her, for everyone to know how much love she had for her family and friends. She was not given the opportunity to see everyone or given the time to tell each and every one of you that she loved you. Carmen is now in the graceful company of her creator and in the loving hands of her family and friends that have passed before her. She will always be in our hearts, our minds and standing beside us.
