Phillip Dale Walker, 72, entered into rest, Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at his residence in Olive Hill, KY. He was born in Elliott County, KY, August 31, 1948, a son, to the late Ward Leonidas and Jessie Roe Walker.

Phillip was a retired laborer, having worked for Acme Stone and the local sewing factories. He enjoyed farming, trapping, and was an avid collector of coins and arrowheads. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Boggs, in 1999; three sisters, Glenna Carroll, Sylvia Dinger and infant Icie; and four brothers, Jimmie, Elmer, Donald, and Erskine.

Phillip is survived by one daughter, Levina (John) Erwin; one son, Mark Walker; three sisters, Althea Middleton, Mildred Sparks and Helen (Cled) Middleton; two grandchildren, Travis Erwin and Andrew Erwin; and one special friend, Wayne Stamper. In addition to these, he leaves behind many extended family and friends who will greatly miss him.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 1:00PM at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Olive Hill, KY. Burial will follow at the Patrick-Walker Cemetery near Ross Chapel in Olive Hill, KY.

Friends may visit from 6:00PM – 9:00PM on Friday, September 11, 2020 and 9:00AM – 1:00 PM Saturday at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
