Carole Elenore Howell was born July 31, 1942, to Herman and Lenore Lierman Huettig. She was raised in the Eden-Hazelton area. She attended school in Hazelton and graduated from Valley High School in 1961. Carole was employed in Sun Valley, Idaho, where she met Thomas Howell. They were married on April 13, 1968; they had one beloved son, Harvey Herman Howell. After Tom's death in 1976, Carole and Harvey relocated to Kimberly, where she resided until her death on Friday, March 5, 2010, at the age of 67.
Carole was survived by her son Harvey (Chris) Howell; her brothers, Keith (Sharon) Huettig, Myron (Ellen) Huettig and Larry (Nancy) Huettig; her sister, Pam (Mitch) Brust, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Gerald Huettig, her sister, Joyce Buschhorn, and a nephew, Jeffery Huettig.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, at Redeemer Luther Church in Kimberly. Private family burial followed at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Eden.
