Connie, I. Caldwell, 75, of Miltonvale, Ks., died Tuesday September 1, 2020 at Wakefield Care and Rehab, Wakefield, Ks. She was born on Dec. 1, 1944 in Knoxville, TN to Charles and Irene (Coburn) Sharp

Raised by her parents, Foster Care and Tennessee Pre[aratory School (TPS), married Navy sailor Horace Earl Cardwell 1962, bore one son Horace Jr. 1963 and daughter Tina 1964, divorced 1977, became a grandmother to Johnathon 1984 and Mariah 1988, became a grandmother-in-law to Emily 2013 and Devin 2014.

She lived from Guam (1960's) to Bermuda (1970's), Florida (1962) to Idaho (1980), Maryland (1965), to California (1966-2004) and many places in between. She especially loved Yosemite National Park.

She was Kooky and a Worrywart, yet a Poet, Pioneer and Trailblazer.

She was fierce, brave and always challenged those she loved to be better people and love one another.
