Jerry F. Neal, 77, of Burlington passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 5, 2020.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Eva M. Neal, who survives and the son of Reubin Johnnie “R.J.” Neal and Elvene Davis Neal, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving in Vietnam and retired from Old Dominion Freight Line. Jerry was a former member of the American Legion and of the Methodist faith.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include two daughters, Michele Meeks and husband John of Greenville, NC and Crystal Neal of Burlington; two grandsons, Philip Meeks and Walker Meeks of Greenville, NC ; sister, Judy N. Turner of Burlington; and brother, Stephen “Mike” Neal and wife Laura of Burlington. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie B. Neal.
Services will be held at a later date.
