Paul Leo Scott, 72, of West Point, Iowa, passed away at 7:20 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at his home in West Point.

He was born on May 5, 1948, in St. Paul, Iowa, the son of Mark and Frances (Pieper) Scott. On December 30, 1971, he married Judi Steffensmeier in St. Paul, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his father: Mark Scott; mother: Frances Caslavka; step-father: Milvoy Caslavka and brother-in-law: Mike Johnson.

Paul served in the United States Army, as a medic, during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Paul's Plumbing & Heating for forty-one years. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, St. Mary's Parish Council, the Knights of Columbus, West Point American Legion Holtz - Geers Post #668 and the West Point Navy. Paul was a great husband, father and papa!
