Bonnie Arlene Hale, 79, of Rock, WV, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020 in Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Born June 13, 1941 in McDowell County, WV, Bonnie was a daughter of the late William Harvey and Edith Victoria Comer Parks. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Hale; and six brothers, William Parks, Michael Parks, Steve Parks, Tim Parks, Rev. Larry Parks, and Donald Parks.



Those left to cherish Bonnie’s memory are her son Jason Parks of Maryland; two daughters, Suzette Blankenship of Rock, WV, and Dana McPeak of Bluefield, WV; three brothers, Blane Parks and wife, Charmayne, of Woodbridge, VA, Joseph Parks, Sr. and wife, Suzette of Lerona, WV, and Sterling Parks and wife, Jasmine of Bracey, WV; sister, Phyllis Sporing and husband, Jim, of Woodbridge, VA; her two dogs and loving companions, Kyerra and Sugar Bear; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.



Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 PM Monday, September 14, 2020 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until the time of service.
