Daniel S. Warner, age 76, lifelong area resident, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
He was born Nov. 16, 1943, in Warren, the son of Mikeal and Marybell Clark Warner.
Dan attended Warren G. Harding High School and retired from K-Mart Distribution Center after more than 25 years of employment. He was a terrific gardener and enjoyed his mornings having coffee with his friends. He would help anyone in need, and most of all, enjoyed his time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of nearly 55 years, Grace (Gilbert) Warner, whom he married Nov. 24, 1965; four children, Mitchel Daffron of Cortland, Sue Slusher (Richard) of Middlefield, Roxanne Morella of Canfield and Yvette Jones (Brian) of Chardon; four grandchildren, Dustin Slusher, Tony Davanzo, Micheal Daffron and Erick Jones; four great-grandchildren, Cain, Aiden, Mikalah and Ezra Slusher; three sisters, Louise Wilson and Judy Thompson, both of Niles and Rose Marie Zell of Warren; three brothers, Nicholas Warner of Toledo and Andrew and Robert Warner, both of Georgia; and many nieces, nephews and their families.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Mikeal and Marybell Warner; one sister, Mary Gibson; and three brothers, Michael and James Warner and John T. Carter.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, with the services immediately following at 7 p.m. His urn will be laid to rest at a later date at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
