Thomas was born June 13, 1926 in Center, Arkansas, the son of Martin and Locke (Lane) Norris. He retired as a financial officer for the Petroleum Club of Houston, TX. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Evening Shade, Arkansas. He was united in marriage to Vernita (Carter) Norris on May 1, 1947 in Evening Shade, AR. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Locke Norris; two brothers, Lamon and Boyd Norris; two sisters, Alene Rush, and Alamola Morgan; and his granddaughter, Michelle Conroy.
Survivors include; his daughter, two sisters; two grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
