HELEN S. STABLES FLITCROFT, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, died at Crestwood Manor, Whiting. She worked as a clerical worker and a photo engineer for Lever Brothers, Philadelphia,and Lotz Engraving, Philadelphia. She graduated from Germantown High School, Germantown, PA, and attended the Moore Institute, Philadelphia School of Design for Women. She was a member of the Vintage Auto Club, Ocean County; the Howell Historical Society and Friends of Island Beach State Park. Born in Philadelphia, she lived in Seaside Park for 56 years before moving to Whiting in 1999. She was predeceased by her husband, George Sterling Flitcroft, in 1999; and a son, Thomas Flitcroft, in 2000. Surviving are a daughter; four grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
