Ralph Warren “RW” Burns, 52 of Hillsboro passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at his home. Born February 6, 1968 in Alderson, WV, he was the only son of the late William Richard “Dick” and Ruby Lynn Hodges Burns.

RW was a graduate of Pocahontas County High School and Fairmont State University. He was passionate about bringing out the best in people whether on the field as a Little League coach or in the businesses he ran in his community. RW was a devoted husband, father, and good and loyal friend to many. He attended the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro.

Survivors include his wife Terrell, daughter, Madeleine Abselle Burns, son, Warren Maverick Burns, close cousins, Rhonda Withers and husband Brett of Marlinton, and Jamie McNeill and wife Heather of Buckeye, a host of extended family, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the Emanuel Church Cemetery on Bruffy’s Creek with Pastor Andy Rice officiating.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm
