Willie Gentry Tate, age 80, of Madisonville, Tennessee passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Grace Gentry; sister, Edna Sue Gentry; and brothers, Floyd Gentry, Jr., Cara Gentry and John Gentry. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Reverend Fred L. Tate; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Ronnie Watkins of Loudon, Tennessee, Tracy and Greg Kennedy of Vonore, Tennessee; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Julie Tate of Loudon, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lindsay and Randy Amburn of Loudon, Tennessee, Megan and Kody Oran of Loudon, Tennessee, Logan Kennedy of Vonore, Tennessee, Cade Tate of Loudon, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Luke and Alex Amburn of Loudon, Tennessee, Sylas and Noah Oran of Loudon, Tennessee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Tillery and Dave White of Maryville, Tennessee, Ellen Harrison of Jefferson, Georgia, Mary Hall Lockridge of Knoxville, Tennessee, Vickie and Vernon Croft of Vonore, Tennessee; brother, Glenn Gentry of Maryville, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
