Rebecca "Becky" English departed this life on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at the age of 72 years, 9 months, and 20 days. She was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on November 16, 1947, the daughter of the late Clyde B. and Katie Lee Comer Brewer. On October 7, 1966, she was united in marriage to Sammy Ray English, who survives.
Becky had worked at Garan Manufacturing, River Heights Manufacturing, Adamsville Western Auto, RIFA as a social worker, and at home as a homemaker. She was the most kind and helpful person there was. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother bar none.
Becky is survived by her husband of 53 years, Sammy Ray English of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughters, Bambi D. English and Amanda R. Jones and her husband Jeff, all of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandchildren, April Pickens, Cody Hughes, Danielle Kennedy, Victoria Vaughn, and Zachary Jones; great grandchildren, Josie, Junie, Lilly Ann, Noah, Ryder, Mady and Raelynn; sisters, Barbara Singleton and Judy L. Thomas.
In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy T. Brewer and Jerry W. Brewer.
