Brandon Taylor age 40, of Rutherfordton, died Sunday, September 6, 2020, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his mother Anita Haynes Taylor. Brandon was a native of Rutherford County and he was of the Baptist faith. He worked at Western Data Center for 12 years as a Systems Analyst II.
In addition to his mother, Brandon was preceded in death by, maternal grandfather; Adam Haynes and paternal grandfather; Marshal Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at Piney Knob Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 10, 2020 with Reverend Michael Brown officiating, the body will lie-in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. The funeral service will be broadcast over the radio to the church parking lot for those who wish to stay in their cars instead of entering the church. The Taylor family has requested that masks be worn at visitation and the funeral service. Interment will follow at Piney Knob Baptist Church Cemetery.
