Doug was born September 2, 1945 in Kansas City, KS to the late Harold and I’Lee Ann Wyatt. He was a graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School in 1963 and received a BS in Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University in 1974. Doug proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970. As a project manager for the Corps of Engineers, Doug traveled all over the Midwest, as well as international travel to Puerto Rico and Iraq. He was also active as a Shriner and a Mason.
Doug will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kersten (Tim) Dodge, Katie Wyatt, his son Chris (Melissa) Wyatt, 10 grandchildren, the mother of his children Vicki Wyatt, brother Jack (Jeannene) Wyatt, sister Barbara (Tracy) Bradford, and longtime companion Trish Damron.
