Jean Picard dit LePicard remarried two times ater Marie died. The first to Marie-Madeleine Gagnon on 18 November 1663, and they are the parents of the following:

2) Anne (1669-1736) md (a) Jean-Baptiste Dailleboust and (Vital Oriot
3) Marie-Anne (1680-1717) md Jacques Barbel
After Marie-Madeleine died, he married Marie-Anne Fortin in 1683, and they are the parents of the following:
1) Catherine (1691-1719) md Etienne Veron
2) Joseph-Jean (1695-1727) md Marie-Louise Reiche
The following is from Our French-Canadian Ancestors by Thomas J. Laforest The LISI Press Palm Harbor, Florida Volume 6, Chapter 5, page 62 -72:
She met a tragic death in early June of 1660, a victim of Huron renegades in quest of plunder on the Beaupre coast. Masquerading as Iroquois, they carried off the young wife, her daughter Louise and three other children in her care. The thieves were overtaken and surprised by the French and some Algonquins at Pointe-Levis. Marie and one of her charges were killed in the skirmish which followed. Little Louise escaped the massacre and was entrusted to the care of her grandfather Pierre Picard. As for Jean Picard, he remarried twice and had several children from each of his last two wives.
