Teresa Diane Haney, 61, of Asheville, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020. She was a native of Buncombe County and the daughter of the late Joel Everette and Lillian Davis Henderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Everette Henderson and granddaughter, Destiny Metcalf.

Teresa is survived by her daughters, Lisa Metcalf (Travis) and Kelly Lunsford (Brian); former husband, Robert Haney; sisters, Carolyn Stokes and Linda Jeffrey; brothers, Gary and Tim Henderson; grandchildren, Colt, Cameron, and Mia; special cousins, Michael Davis, Susie Davis, Vickie Hickey, and Connie Ballew; and best friend, Gina Walters.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Randy Roberts and Ben Sprinkle will officiate. Burial will follow in City Cemetery, Marshall. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
