Richard Eugene Oliver, age 68, of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.

Mr. Oliver was born on May 14, 1952, in Habersham County, to the late Clyde and Eleanor Cook Oliver.

He was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church. Richard was preceded in death by his brothers, Artist Oliver and Edward Oliver; sister, Ellen Armour.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Oliver, Cleveland; daughter, Misty Eller, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Matthew Nash, Clarkesville; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Larami Oliver, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Lily Eller, Olivia Eller, Camden Nash, Brielan Childers, and Elijah Oliver; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Lamar Wood, Alto, and Genell and L.D. Armour, Alto; sister, Helen Grier, Alto.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 29, 2020 at New Bridge Baptist Church. The Rev. Mike Irvin, the Rev. W.A. Jenkins, and the Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations can be made to the White County Gideon Camp, P.O. 946, Cleveland, GA.
