Funeral services for Gilbert L. Trevino, 33, of Richmond, will be held on Saturday, April 19, at 11 a.m. at Jasso-Dilling Funeral Home Chapel, 1511 Ave. G in Rosenberg. Pastor Rudy Lopez, brother of Mr. Trevino will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sat. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Jasso-Dilling Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 18, at the funeral home.
Mr. Trevino was born on Nov. 14, 1963 in East Bernard to George and Jean Trevino. He was later adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Oscar George Lopez, Sr. of Richmond.
He was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Oscar George Lopez, Sr. and by biological father, George Trevino.
He is survived by his adoptive mother, Connie Reza Lopez of Richmond; his biological mother, Jean Trevino of Houston; four sisters, Julia Cruz of Rosenberg, Alice Castro of Rosenberg, Velia L. Ancheta of Houston, and Sandy Saver; six brothers, Oscar Lopez Jr. of Richmond, Jack Lopez of Houston, Jose A. Lopez of Rosenberg, Pastor Rudy Lopez of Rosenberg, George Trevino Jr. of Houston, and Richard Trevino of Houston.
