Helen Margret Berry aka "Judy", 71, lost her battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on Monday, August 03, 2020 just 3 days short of her 72nd birthday. Judy was born on August 06, 1948 and graduated Port Lyden High School in Port Lyden New York. On June 16, 1968, Judy married her husband and later they moved to Birmingham, AL. Judy and her family moved to Texas in 1974 and relocated to Midlothian, TX in 1983 where she remained a resident until her death. Judy worked many years for Sears & Robucks and ended her career in 2008 as a Clinical Staff Assistant with UT South Western Medical Center. She is survived by daughters Catherine Howell & husband Vince of Maypearl, Jenny Melton & husband Alun of Edmond, OK, grandchildren Colton, Kanin, Lucas & Lacey, brother Thomas Holman, brother-in-law, Paul Berry of Arab, AL, sister-in-law Sharon Berry of Trusseville, AL, sister-in-law Nacoma Morrow of Union Grove, AL, and other cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends in TX, AL, CT, NY. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, William "Larry" Berry and never remarried after his passing in 2014. A celebration of life will be held on September 12, 2020 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Shepherds House Church of the Nazarene 3221 Mockingbird Ln. Midlothian, TX 76065 and all are welcome.

There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place. The family understands if you do not attend services and instead send condolences due to the coronavirus pandemic. She was loved near and far during her life and they are aware of that.
