Herman arrived on October 20th, 1933 to Clarence and Mattie Jackson. He was educated in Fluvanna County (Dunbar school). He was employed by Richmond City Public Water Services for 36 years.
He enjoyed cooking (rice pudding; sweet potato pies), working on cars; and watching old westerns.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Mattie Jackson, his sister Delores Ann Jackson, and son Michael Goode.
He leaves to cherish his life Eleanor, his daughter Delores (Gary) of Palmyra, Va. Sister Evelyn Payne of Dillwyn, Va. Daughter-In-law Bonita two grandchildren Chloe, and Chelsa all of Richmond, Va. And host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
