Frank D. Chapman, 61, of St. Johnsville passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Friday September 4, 2020 at his home.

He was born July 6, 1959 in Amsterdam, NY the son of the late Everett and Carol (Swartz) Chapman, and was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, Class of 1977.

On August 17, 1996, Frank was united in marriage to Mary Lou Lyon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in St. Johnsville. They shared a loving union of 22 years until the passing of Mary on January 4, 2019.

Frank was employed at Kasson & Keller Inc., in Fonda. At one time he was employed at Sentinel in St. Johnsville, the Former Medical Linens in St. Johnsville and also worked for the village of St. Johnsville.

Frank's life was centered around his family. He enjoyed spending the holiday's with his loved ones and the quality time he spent with his grandchildren. In his younger years, Frank was very active with the Boy Scouts.

Survivors include his sisters, Lorraine (Bob) Phillips of Canajoharie, Shoann (Charles) Etherton of Gloversville, Staci (Ryan) Hazzard of St. Johnsville, and Colleen (John) Mosenthin of Stratford; his brothers, Thomas (Sarah) Chapman of St. Johnsville, Joe (Judy) Chapman of Caroga Lake, Jeff (Crystal) Chapman of Fort Plain, and Todd Chapman and Erin McCarthy of St. Johnsville; his step-children, John Doxtader of Johnstown, Fred Doxtader and Erica Brooks of Dolgeville and Janelle Frederick of Dolgeville; five step-grandchildren, David Doxtader, Chloe Doxtader, Brianna Brooks, Ashlyn Strobel and Aidan Doxtader; an uncle, Leonard (Gloria) Chapman and several nieces, nephews, and cousin.

He was pre-deceased by a sister, Amy Chapman.
