LOUISBURG – Ralph Jones Mitchell, 81, loving husband, brother and uncle, passed away Friday, surrounded by his family. He was born in Franklin County to the late William Carl Mitchell and Lallie Morton Mitchell.
He worked as a salesman, specializing in the sale of auto parts.
In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde and Billy Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Cobler Mitchell; step-daughter, Linda Rackley (Wayne); sister, Joyce Mitchell Lee and her children, Michael Strickland (Diane), Kaye Snyder (Skip), and Nancy Massey (Worley), along with several other nieces and nephews whom he loved.
A memorial service to honor the life of Ralph will be held at a later date.
