Own a contracting business. Loved horses. Won 1st place with the Pole Bending Team in the State of Utah. Active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survived children Jared (Tori) Pettit, Shae Berube, Alex (Justin) Ketterer, and Amanda (Ryan) Winterrose, four grandchildren, parents Jerry and Judy Pettit, brothers and sister David (Maria) Pettit, Diana Spainhower, Greg (Jeannie) Pettit, grandparents Newell and Beth Pettit. Predeceased by grandparents Bill and Lydia Graves.
