Sharon Ann (Hooks) Lawrence, 68, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020, in Amarillo, TX.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. Sat., Sept. 5, 2020, at Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Borger, TX.

Sharon was born Feb. 24, 1952, in Hobbs, NM to Claude Milton Hooks Sr. and Mary True Hooks. Sharon loved to read her Bible, watching Hallmark movies, and spending time with her family. Nothing brought more joy to her life than her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Hooks Sr. and Mary Hooks; brothers Claude Hooks Jr. and John Hooks; sisters, Brenda Harrison and LaDona Kitchen.

Survivors include her daughters Kimberly Huff and husband Garrett of Borger, TX, and Amanda Deschaines and husband Spencer of Borger, TX; grandchildren Miranda, Matthew, Blake and William Piedra and Addison and Carter Deschaines; sisters, Ruth Hedgecoke and Barbara Mongold of Waxahachie, TX, Susan Ramsey and husband Bill of Borger, TX; brother Don Hooks and wife Linda of Stinnett, TX, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
