Peggy Lou Rogers, 72, of Blairsville, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville.
Burial will be in Blairsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Tuesday. DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS RELATED TO COVID-19: visitation and service limit of 50% capacity at one time; facial coverings are required; social distancing yourself from others; and refrain from hugging.
Peggy was born October 27, 1947, in Chicago, to John and Florence Wagner.
She married Roland Floyd Rogers in 1966 in Chicago.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roland Rogers of Blairsville; daughters, J. Rogers and Sherri (Dallas), all of Chicago; son, R. J. Rogers of Chicago; grandchildren; sister, Joy (Clyde) of Barrington; and brother, R. Wagner of Rockford.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.
When she wasn't enjoying a good book, Peggy was taking care of her family, whom she loved dearly.
