Mrs. Jackson was a native of Gwinnett County, Georgia , the daughter of the late James Alfred Lee and the late Laverne Houston Lee. She had resided in Washington County for many years. Mrs. Jackson received her Bachelor of Science degree from North Georgia College and her Masters degree from the University of Georgia. In her early career, she taught in Jasper County. She was a retired teacher of early childhood education for the Washington County Board of Education with thirty-two years of service. She also taught at Brentwood School. Mrs. Jackson was a member of and pianist for New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Randall Jackson of Riddleville; son, Joshua Jackson and his wife Casey of Riddleville; daughter, Tara Lee Jackson of Riddleville; grandson, Sawyer Milo Jackson; and brother, Ricky Lee and his wife Wanda of Martinez.
