After retiring from the Navy, he moved his wife and 5 children to Quezon City, Philippines, where the 6 th child was born. Knowing America was the best place to raise his children, he moved the family to the U.S. in 1969 where the last family member was added. He secured a job with Garret Air Research then later was employed with the United States Postal Service. He settled his family in Norwalk, CA and eventually moved to Cerritos, CA in 1976.
Ceferino was an avid lover of music including Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, and Andy Williams. He also loved watching basketball games, especially the Los Angeles Lakers. He was known for being a quiet man that was very dedicated to his family and wife of 60 years, Perfecta. His endless love for his family was demonstrated through his tireless and remarkable work ethic.
Ceferino is survived by his 7 children and their spouses, his 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
