Floyd Olen Brown, 94, of Quitman passed away on Thursday September 3, 2020.
He was born on August 20, 1926 to his parents Floyd K. Brown and Maggie (Shavor) Brown. Floyd enlisted in the army in 1945 and served proudly in World War II. He moved to Quitman from Dallas in 1986 where he lived until he passed.
He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy “Jean” Brown; his parents, Floyd K. and Maggie (Shavor) Brown; Sister, Mary Pyles; and Brother, Travis Brown.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Marcus (wife Deborah) Brown, Michael (wife Chris) Brown, Ricky (wife Cindy) Brown; Sisters: Pat Quillin, & Doris Mixon and Brother: Butch (wife Pat) Williams;
10 Grandchildren; 27 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and the many friends he made during his lifetime.
