ZEBULON – Paul Neal Pittman, Sr., 84, went home to be with Lord on Tuesday. He was born in Wake County, son of the late, James “J.V.” Vester and Julia Eunice Lowery Pittman. Paul faithfully and honorably served and retired with the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his wives, Carolyn K. Pittman and Gertrude T. Pittman.
He is survived by his son, Paul Pittman, Jr. of Zebulon, daughter, Lisa Kempf of Kansas, sisters, Mary Katherine Dean of Wake Forest and Eunice Knott of Greenville, grandchildren, Sommer and Sara Kempf, great grandchildren, Kiara, Elijah and Alena and niece, Melanie Dale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to your favorite Active Duty Veterans Assistance Organization.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held, 11 am, Tuesday, Sept. 8, Greenmount Cemetery, Wendell.
