Charles Roy Rodgers 77, born April 15, 1943 to Howard and Flora Rodgers passed away August 20, 2020. Charles was raised in Mineral Wells, TX and graduated from MWISD in 1962. Charles then moved to Weatherford, TX in 1964 where he settled down to raise his family and became an electrician by trade. After retiring Charles spent his time tending to his farm, riding his tractor, watching old westerns, and spending his time with his "Sweetie Pie" Betty Harrison. Charles will be remembered by his children, Troy Rodgers (Romalyn), Kimberly White (Jeff), and Gina Ward (Peter). He will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Ethan (Ally), Chance, Shyann, Ashlynn, Daniel, Emma, Madison, and Julia, by his sister Patsy Tallant, Mother of his children Pat Haynes Rodgers, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends. Charles was proceeded in death by parents Howard and Flora Rodgers, sisters Mary Ann Lucius, Lola C. Copeland, and Brother John R. Rodgers. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday August 30, 2020 at the Parker County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo Grounds Event Center.
