Diane Sue Kaufman Hunt, 67 years of age, of Spartanburg, Indiana, departed this life on Thursday, September 3rd, 2020 in the comfort of her home.
Diane was born in Winchester, Indiana on May 7th, 1953, daughter of the late Marvin Edward and Sarah Maxine LaFuze Kaufman. She was a 1971 graduate of Lynn High School. Diane spent twenty-six years driving a school bus for Randolph Southern School Corp. before retiring in 2010. She was active with the Ohio Girls Barrel Racing Association and served on the Randolph County 4-H Horse & Pony Committee.
Diane was survived by her loving husband of twenty-five years, Mark Hunt, whom she married on January 19th, 1994; one daughter, Taryn Wagers (and her companion, Craig Person); four sons, Brett (and his wife, Megan) Stewart, Brent Stewart, Trent (and his wife, Stacey) Hunt, and Torey (and his wife, Deanna) Hunt; seventeen grandchildren, Lexxus Stewart, Jaiden Stewart, Shayla (and her husband, Ayrron) Wells, Angel Crase, Billie Crase, Dylan Resetar, Will Hunt, Molly Hunt, Seth Elliott, Kaden Young, Morgan Hunt, Wesley Hunt, Kennedy Seals, Korbyn Lehman, Derek Hunt, Braxton Hurley, and Ryan Wagers; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Janice (and her husband, Gary) Harvey; two brothers, Steve (and his wife, Cheryl) Kaufman and Phil (and his wife, Gwynn) Kaufman; several nieces & nephews; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Edward Kaufman, who departed this life on June 17th, 1995 and Sarah Maxine Kaufman, who departed this life on December 2nd, 2001.
Private funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 in the Chapel of the Smith-McQuiston & Webster Funeral Home in Fountain City, Indiana.
Interment followed in the Spartanburg Cemetery.
