Anthony David Mitchell, 25 of Brazil, died August 30, 2020 at 3:03am due to a tragic accident on U.S. Hwy 40 in Putnam County. He was born January 5, 1995 in Batesville, IN. the son of Roy Mitchell and Jennifer Morton Mitchell.
Anthony has lived a varied life in his short 25 years. He worked for a time on a farm in California and learned about bee keeping. He enjoyed being in the mountains and photographing scenery documenting the moments. He had a passion for nature and loved just being outside. He was also a “gamer” connecting with friends. He had a soft heart for the underdogs in the world and caring for animals. He had a life goal to find success in helping homeless people. Anthony was an avid Trump Supporter.
He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Mitchell of Brazil; his father Roy Mitchell (Michelle) of Carthage, NY; his sister Megan Holabeck and husband Stephen; other siblings, Zaccary Bice, Jerrett Mitchell and Serenity Mitchell; one niece Lily and one nephew Sebastian; a large extended family and his dog of many years, Rebel.
A gathering to honor Anthony’s life will be held on September 10, 2020 from 1-4pm at Hawthorn Park, Dogwood Shelter, 6067 E. Old Maple Ave. Terre Haute, IN 47803.
