Mrs. Collins was born Dec. 23, 1966, in Huntingdon, to Joseph “Redbear” Harrington, of Hollow Rock, and the late Patsy A. Mullins Harrington. She was a member of the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church and a nurse for TN Health Management. She served with Helping Hands, helped with vacation bible school, and taught nursing classes as well as many other things.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Harrington, and an aunt, Linda Harrington.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 16 years, Diamond Collins Jr.; a daughter, Rebecca Guilfoy, of Raleigh, N.C.; six grandchildren, a special friend, Kathleen Smiley, and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Larry, Tony and Laird Collins, Charles Halford, James Laird Collins and John Hawkins.
