Obituary
David Copeland, 70, passed away late Wednesday evening September 2, 2020 at the Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital following an extended illness. He was born on February 22, 1950 in Jamestown, Tennessee the son of Paul and Alma (Wright) Copeland.

David attended Jamestown City Schools and later became a Lineman for a local cable television company for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed shooting guns, horseback riding, hunting and doing woodworking and producing furniture.

He is survived by his companion, Patricia (Hicks) Sells-Copeland; 4 daughters, Tanya Conway (Steve), Albany, Holly Muncy (Robert) Harrogate, Tennessee, Heather Copeland and Hope Owens, both of Jamestown, Tennessee; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Bobby and Paul V. Copeland and 1 sister, Brenda and his loving boxer Ruby.

Cremation is being done with a private memorial service at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.
