Jean Carolyn O'Dell Cox passed away September 3, 2020.

She was born October 16th 1946 to Gunard Hebron Cox and Delma Louise O'Dell O'Dell Cox.

Jean graduated from Dublin High School class of 1965.

She Married Dennis Lee Cox on August 6th, 1967 at the New River Primitive Baptist Church where she was a faithful member since age 9, never missing a chance to go to church.

Jean was employed by Klopman Mills as a teletype operator and Pulaski County Schools as Clerk of the School Board.

She is survived by her husband Dennis Lee Cox of the home, daughter Jodi Denise Cox Stubbs and husband Tony, and son Jason Cox and grandchildren Casey Lee Cox, Kaylee McKenzie Cox and Brother-in-law Robert Zane Cox and wife Peggy. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gunard Hebron O’Dell and Delma Louise O’Dell, children Sarah Louise Cox and Dennis Jeremy Cox, sister Dreama Darlene O’Dell Gallimore and her husband Gordon Winfred and brother in law Don Lewis Fariss, Father in-law Quentin Roosevelt Cox and Mother-Law Sybol Ewing Cox.

Funeral service Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Elder Dan Puckett officiating.

Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Virginia.

Bower Funeral Homes, Pulaski is handling the arrangements for the family.
