Karen enrolled in the Medical Secretarial Course at McCann Tech in North Adams, Massachusetts, after graduating from Pittsfield High School in June 1966. She graduated from McCann Tech in 1967 as a Medical Secretary and began her career in the Office of Edward Galla in Pittsfield, Berkshire, Massachusetts.
A member of the Berkshire Museum Camera Club, she won many awards for her photos which were shot in Massachusetts and Virginia.
In 1982 several of her award-winning photos, particularly those of the sun and water reflections, were on exhibit in the Photography Exhibit at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Karen predeceased her husband of eighteen years, Roy L. Fuller; and her brother, John.
Se also predeceased her mother, Ann C. Rogers Kelly who died in 1999. Burial is unknown.
Karen was predeceased by her father, John Joseph Kelly.
