BILLIE JEAN McDANIEL
July 20, 1933 ~ September 2, 2020

Billie Jean McDaniel was born on July 20, 1933 in Smithville, Oklahoma to William Albert Charlton and Mamie Lue (Tatom) Charlton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bert "JR" McDaniel, brothers, Elzie and Charlie Charlton, sons, Dennis Bert McDaniel and Dannie Lee McDaniel, grandchildren, Robert "Rocky" Dunithen, Megan Strayhorn and Stacy Strayhorn.

Billie married Bert "JR" McDaniel in Hatfield, AR on February 9, 1952 and moved to Valliant in 1973. She loved crocheting and spending time working in her garden.

Billie loved the Lord and read her Bible daily. She enjoyed attending church and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Valliant. Billie loved cooking Sunday dinner and she wouldn't let anyone leave her house without trying to feed them.

Billie is survived by her daughters, Barbara Johnson and husband Brit of Millerton, OK and Sheila Strayhorn and husband Pat of Wright City, OK, grandchildren, Natalie Strayhorn, Sherry Norton, Steven Strayhorn, Angelina Dodds, Reneé Bailey, Robbie McDaniel and Kim Oliver; twenty two great grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
