Renee Margaret Hauf-Bennett, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore. She was the only child of the late Jack Charles Hauf and Margaret Warner Hauf of Sykesville, Maryland.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Konstantin Bennett, daughter-in-law Kylie, and grand daughter Ivy-Rose.
She was an active member of the East Eldersburg Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her love for life, family, neighbors, friends, and animals was evident in the way she lived each day.
She was a loyal employee of BG& E and Constellation Energy for many years in the footsteps of her father. Renee had many talents and skills some of which included a Gas Masterfitter Mechanic, Senior Security Operator, Appliance Service Technician, and Senior Field Service Technician. Her most recent employer was Melitta SystemService, USA where she had been employed since 2009.
Renee graduated South Carroll High School in 1978 where she had received training as a licensed cosmetologist. Her high school friends remained dear to her heart throughout the years. She resided in Eldersburg until her passing.
She will be missed by many.
