Fred McDowell, 95, died 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9,1980, at the home of his daughter in Logansport, where he had been residing.He was born in Cass County Sept. 4,1894, the son of Frank and Maude Eldzroth McDowell.He was a retired fanner and member;of the World Wide Church of God. He was also a charter member of Farm;Bureau.Surviving are two daughters, Gertrude Frye of Rt. 1 Camden and Mildred Moss of Logansport; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren.Services were Saturday afternoon in Logansport. Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery in Logansport
