She grew up in Frankenmuth and graduated from Frankenmuth High School Class of 2005. She received certification as a CENA from Lansing Community College, then happily spent several years as a stay at home mom and caregiver to her disabled husband. Most recently, she worked as a licensed realtor for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Tomie Raines Realtors.
Jessi cherished her role as wife and mother to four children more than anything, but she was also actively involved and invested in her community and others. She especially found it rewarding to assist and educate young mothers through her involvement with Babywearing International of Lansing and the Delta-Waverly Chapter of the La Leche League International. She was also active in the homeschooling community as she successfully juggled homeschooling with her career. Many wonderful friendships were formed from her association with these organizations and her children's activities. As an involved mother, she was often shuttling one or more to swimming class, dance, cub scouts, French class, museums, zoos, and many other group outings.
She loved traveling; she was detailed in planning several family cruises and trips to Disney World. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loving family and by the many lives she touched.
She is survived by her husband, Dave; children Cameryn, Addyson, Logan and Savannah; mom Danna (Dan) Guile; sister, Jamie Patyk and aunt, Deborah Sanders.
Jessi was preceded in death by her dad, Robert Musial; grandparents Scottie and Doyle Lemonds and great aunt, Shirley Hopkins.
A visitation to celebrate Jessi’s life will be Friday, September 4, 2020 and Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home, Grand Ledge.
Memorial contributions in Jessi’s name may be given to Wounded Warrior Project, Jacksonville, Florida or Autism Society of America’s Foundation, Rockville, Maryland.
