Clara J. Chestnut, 75, of near Dieterich, died Thursday afternoon at her home.
A native of Jasper County, she was born February 25, 1895, daughter of Valentine and Lizzie Schmitt. She was married to Howard Chestnut on November 28, 1915.
She is survived by her husband, Howard.
She was a member of the Headyville Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Headyville Christian church with Brother Delor Beaulieu officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
