Passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday November 30, 2012 at The Village of Winston Park in her 99th year. Olive was born June 5, 1914 in Berlin, (Kitchener) to Henry and Elizabeth (Smith) Oberer, the youngest of three girls. She was married to Wallace Clair, April 6, 1935. They had one daughter Elizabeth (Betty) Zehr. She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Grace (Lorne) Gingerick and Ruth (Lorne) Mosser. They began attending Scott St. Mission in 1925, then Kitchener Pentecostal Tabernacle, and presently Kitchener Gospel Temple. She was an active member in the Sunday School Choir and visitation. Olive was employed by Breithaupt Leather Company for 23 years. After spending 1 ½ years in the office and visitation for Kitchener Gospel Temple, an opening become available with the P.A.O.C sub-Arctic Mission in Hay River N.W.T. She spent 14 wonderful years there. She loved the north and enjoyed trips to other foreign Mission Stations. She is survived by her daughter Betty (Gerry) Zehr, her grandchildren Geraldine ‘Gerrie’ (Dave) Boehm, Richard (Cathy) Zehr, Cathy (Jeff) Dienesch, her great-grandchildren Jessica (Ryan), Ryan (Becky), Heather (Andrew), Nicole (Steve), Chris (Ashley), Matt (Crystal), Jordan, Josh, her great-great grandchildren Kenzie, Eden, Abigail, Zachary, Sarah, Blake, Lara and 3 to be born shortly. Olive will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
