Frank was the son of Manson cult victim Rosemary La Bianca who along with her husband Leno were murdered in their Waverly Drive home in Los Angeles on August 10, 1969.
Frank who was 15 at the time spent the weekend of August 8-10 at the lake with his parents and a close friend.
Upon returning to Los Angeles very early Sunday morning. Frank decided to spend the rest of the weekend at his friends house.
Leno & Rosemary in their Thunderbird towing their boat dropped Frank & friend off, stopped at a newsstand to buy the Sunday edition of the LA Times, whose front page banner along with photos broke the news of the brutal murders on Cielo Dr in Benedict Canyon of actress Sharon Tate & friends very early on Saturday, August 9, 1969.
The La Bianca's proceeded home. Parked the Thunderbird & boat in front of the house on the street, instead of putting the boat away which Leno always did.
A short time after arriving home the Manson killers arrived, entered the house and stabbed Leno & Rosemary to death.
Later that morning, young Frank & his older half sister Suzan & her boyfriend Joe Dorgan arrived home. The LAPD were called to the scene.
Frank never married. He worked in the restaurant business for at least 20 years.
Frank Jr lived in Placentia, CA for the last 10 years.
He died on June 16, 2017 in Placentia Linda Hospital of, acute respiratory failure, Sepsis, alcohol related liver cirrhosis.
Frank was cremated and his ashes scattered of the coast of Orange County, CA.
