Connie Martin, age 73, of Independence, Kentucky, peacefully passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at her residence. She was born in Covington, Kentucky, on August 31, 1946, to the late Robert and Roberta Lowe. She retired as a beautician and was a member of Williamstown Christian Church. She will be remembered as always being a people person. No matter where she went or what she was doing, it was as if she had never met a stranger. She truly was a "social butterfly." Connie enjoyed lunch dates with her best friend, Lucy Kinman Sterling, especially the ones where they reconnected with high school classmates. She enjoyed things like golfing, cooking and getting together with her friends to play cards, especially bridge. Her greatest joys of all were her grandkids. Connie loved spending time with her family.

Connie was preceded in death by: her parents; and a sister, Patsy Carruthers. Surviving to mourn her loss are: two children, Kelli (Rob) Colson and Todd Martin; five beloved grandchildren, Jeremy (Stephanie) Martin, Alexis (Ross) Rigsby, Matalyn Colson, Ireland Colson and Kealee Colson; four great-grandchildren, Graham Rigsby, Henry Rigsby, Alex Williams and Addie Williams; and many other friends and family members, who will cherish her memory.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, at 314 South Main Street, Williamstown, Kentucky.
