Funeral services for Lily Scott, 52, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bartley Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Colquitt Nash, chaplain of Area Community Hospice, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Scott died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at Covenant Medical Center Lubbock. She was born June 28, 1955, in Monahans to C.S. and Jackie Drake. She married Alvin Scott in June 1990. He died Sept. 1, 2007. She was former co-owner of Scott Furniture and Appliances. She was a member of Open Door Ministries.
Survivors include three sons and three daughters-in-law, Clifford and Jeretha Scott of Lubbock, Jerry and Candace Scott of Amarillo, Jimmy and Denice Owens of Arlington; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharron and David Barrett and Loretta Gibson, all of Plainview, and Angila and Jason Shook of Arlington; three brothers, Harold Drake of Lake Whitney, Bobby Johnson of Corsicana, and Steven Drake of Granbury; two sisters, Linda of Monahans and Pamela of Dallas; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her parents and husband are deceased.
