Charles H. Osborne, 96, of Quinton Township passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Born in Salem and a lifetime Quinton Township resident, he was the husband of Lillian Willey Osborne.

A World War Two Veteran, he had served his country in the United States Army 1st Rangers Division. He had been employed for 25 years as a serviceman with the Bridgeton Agway Garden Center. After his employment there he continued to work as a self employed serviceman repairing small appliances and lawn mowing equipment until he was 80 years old.

Charles was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Elmer and the Quinton Sportsman’s Club. He was an avid hunter and target shooter.

In addition to his wife, Lillian, he is survived by his daughter, Marilyn L. Wilson of Quinton Township; two grandchildren, Dawn Vicari (David) of Rosenhayn and Donald Wilson of Quinton Township; two great-granddaughters, Amanda Orgeron (Jarid) and Kristina Vicari and two great-great-grandchildren, Charles Orgeron and Elizabeth Orgeron. He was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church in Elmer on Saturday, August 22nd at 1:00 PM.

Private visitation and graveside funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment at Salem County Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Charle's memory be made to the Millville Army Airfield Musuem, 1 Leddon Street, Millville, NJ 08332 Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
